Home Ground Habitats in Novato is excited to announce our first annual Habitat Garden Summer Camp for children.
Monday July 8th – Friday July 12th 2024
9:00am-1:00pm (optional 2:30 end time for 5th Graders only)
Open to incoming 2nd through 5th Graders
Outline of the Day:
- 9:00-9:30am Arrival, morning circle, gratitude, garden snack
- 9:30-10:00am Morning garden exploration
- 10:00-11:00am Habitat activity
- 11:00-12:00pm Nature craft
- 12:00-12:30pm Lunch and story
- 12:30-1:00pm Garden game and pick up
- 1:00-2:30pm (for 5th graders only) garden apprenticeship
Activities:
- Make Crafts with natural material
- Sow seeds, tend plants
- Investigate bugs, butterflies, bees
- Take home a very special plant
- Eat tasty treats from the garden
- Treasure hunts & special prizes!
- Play games, explore, and more!
Camp will be held from 9:00am – 1:00pm (optional extension to 2:30 for 5th graders only)
Home Ground Habitats will provide a healthy morning snack. Please send your child with lunch and a water bottle.
Summer Camp Registration and Fees
After April 15 – $295
Payment is due in full to hold your child’s space. 12 children max enrollment
Cancellations before May 31 receive refund minus $10 service charge
No refunds after June 1, 2024
Please do not send your child to camp with any electronics.
