We have had to put classes and workshops on hold until we get to a safer place for group gatherings, but our big news is our wonderful new home. Until we can welcome you here in person, we’re sharing some photos of the many exciting changes that are happening as it becomes a reality—one that will enable us to expand our mission and share our knowledge with many more of you.

August 2020. Friends gather for a workday in what is already a truly wonderful working space—even though we have quite a bit more to go. We can’t wait to welcome you here.

Feb 2019. Our new home—still a field of weeds and a heart full of dreams!

Feb 2019. We had to do a lot of drainage work before starting on the build-out. This was taken after the first weed whacking and 17 inches of rain!

June 2019. The first pathways go in around some existing plantings.

Sept 2019. New nursery benches for larger plants have been installed; the shade house is beyond them and holds smaller plants.

Jan 2020. We have several display berms surrounding the work areas. The first one is a showcase for our local manzanitas and was planted during the winter rainy season.

May 2020. By spring, the plants in the berm have taken hold and are growing in!

August 2020. By late summer, the first berm that was planted is two feet high and flourishing.
